Dr. Charis Luk

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Luk is passionate about children. She finds it a blessing to interact with and provide care for children of different ages.

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Mississauga, Dr. Luk obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of British Columbia. After working as a general dentist for two years, her passion for children has led her to pursue advanced specialty training at the University of British Columbia to become a Certified Pediatric Dentist. During her concurrent training at the BC Children's Hospital, she provided care and treatment for children with special needs that had medical and behavioural challenges.

Dr. Luk is active with the current research. Her research on methods to lower parental anxiety for their child's dental appointment has earned her the prestigious Sunstar Research Fellowship Award from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry .

Dr. Luk is also dedicated in educating the future dentists. She is appointed as a clinical instructor in the graduate pediatric dental clinic at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Noah Turk

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Noah was born and raised in Toronto. He completed his formal dental training at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2015. His passion for treating children, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to achieve the smile and confidence they deserve, drove him to earn a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. This advanced pediatric training was also completed through Nova Southeastern University at the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, where Dr. Noah had the opportunity to serve as Chief resident. While earning his certificate, Dr. Noah concurrently completed his Master of Science in pediatric dentistry with a focus on providing successful dental care to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Noah is an active part of the Toronto dental community, serving as an executive member of the Alpha Omega dental fraternity and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

During his free time, Dr. Noah enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three daughters. He is looking forward to his return back home and to treating the children of his community.


Dr. Amit Mongia

General Dentist - Practice limited to Children's Dentistry

Dr. Amit Mongia first graduated in 2008 from KLE Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum, Karnataka with B.D.S. and worked in India for 2 years practicing in rural hospitals and dental clinics before moving to Mumbai, Maharashtra to practice in private practice.

In 2010 he came to U.S.A. for further studies and completed his M.B.A. in Business of Health from The University of Texas at San Antonio, he then got accepted at University of California San Francisco Dental School in 2013 and graduated in 2015 with his D.D.S. 

Dr. Amit Mongia worked as Traveling Associate Dentist in state of Virginia for over 2 years commuting to various dental offices across the state and providing pediatric dental care. In 2018 he immigrated to Canada and joined Sunrise Kids Dental. Dr. Amit Mongia loves working with children and has fun doing so.

Dr. Amit Mongia in his free time likes watching movies and gain knowledge about electronic gadgets. He also likes to travel to different countries and explore. He is a Toronto Maple Leafs, San Antonio Spurs, San Francisco Giants and Dallas Cowboys fan.


Dr. Wailan Chan

General Dentist - Practice limited to Children's Dentistry

Dr. Wailan Chan completed his dental degree at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. After graduation, Dr. Chan was accepted into a residency at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, gaining extensive experience in providing all aspects of dental care to infants and children with a wide range of medical needs. Dr. Chan believes that the most successful doctor-patient relationships are based on trust, communication, compassion and respect. He always takes the time to get to know everyone, and he encourages and empowers his patients to play an active role in their oral health decisions.
